Melancholy’s Breath lay frozen in her naked breast
Heart bitter with the cruel reality of Love’s Death
Miraculously,
Seasoned with the salt of grief’s tears,
Love’s beauty is retrieved from the grave loss,
Raised from the Dead of Winter,
Cupped in the petals of the Lavender Rose
Returned.
